Our 20th annual U.S. Conference, June 19 – 22 in Seattle, WA was a tremendous success! Attendees raved about our keynote speakers, including Alison Levine who gave an awe-inspiring talk about risk taking in the face of adversity. Steve Gutzler also enlightened us about the power of emotional intelligence in our decisions and our daily lives.
Breakout sessions provided lots of ideas on innovative topics such as global employment strategies, MBA mentoring programs, trends in employer branding and working professional student populations. Networking opportunities abounded, from the energizing new member orientation to the opening reception and the networking breaks where attendees enjoyed learning about the latest products from our exhibitors. Many called the 80’s themed gala at the EMP Museum the highlight of the event!
Thanks again to our conference chairs, Jen Bublitz from the University of Arizona and Sue Collard from Dell, as well as their hard-working committee for a job well done. Thanks also to our sponsors and exhibitors for helping make the event possible. See you in Washington, DC in 2013!
